Claire Bockwith
A Louisiana native, Claire and her three sisters lived in many different cities and states growing up. Moving toPensacola in May 1979, she worked in the software industry as a corporate trainer. Claire met the love of her life, Charles Bockwith, in 1984, when he went to work at her employer. Married in 1989, the couple has 2 beautiful daughters, Ashley and Lindsay and two canine “babies”, Marta – a miniature Schnauzer, and Lola – a miniature Chihuahua.
A staunch civic enthusiast, Claire is a member of IMPACT 100, President of the Pensacola Opera Guild, Advisory Council Board for Pensacola Young Professionals, Member of the Pensacola Symphony Guild, Board Member of The Santa Rosa County Chamber of Commerce, Recruiting Committee of the Pensacola Area Chamber of Commerce, various committees with the Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce, Board Member Emeral Coast Chapter MGMA, Member PAHCOM, Junior Achievement Classroom Volunteer, Sponsor Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Episcopal Church Women, March of Dimes “Mothers Walk” Volunteer, Habitat for Humanity Donor and Volunteer, Gulf Coast Kids House Donor, Manna Food Bank Donor and Volunteer, Bay Area Food Bank Donor, former Brownie Troop Leader and blood donor. “The Express Mission: ‘To help people find jobs and help businesses find the people and human resource services they need.’ truly appealed to my need to contribute to my community and to my fellow man”, explains Claire.
She believes “The day you stop learning is the day you should lie down to die!” and can almost always be found with some type of reading material handy. She regularly contributes articles to local media, The Owners Blog, LinkedIn, and does many presentations each year to a variety of local, state and national business professionals on the topics facing business in this new economy.
In her free time, Claire loves boating with her family, gardening, reading and cooking.
